Couch & Dumbbells was born out of a simple frustration: why do home décor and fitness always feel like two completely separate worlds? Our founder, Brian Dunn, was renovating his Chicago home while training for his first marathon — and he couldn't find a single brand that understood both sides of his life.
He believed that the same person who obsesses over the perfect throw pillow also obsesses over the perfect squat rack. That the same eye for design that picks a velvet sofa can pick the right compression leggings. So in 2024, he built Couch & Dumbbells — a curated destination where home interiors and fitness gear live side by side.
